On July 28, 2017, I found myself in Lily Dale, NY, a center of Spiritualism, performing in an evening organized by Shannon Taggart. I performed what I called music attributed to ultraterrestrials, using a term favored by the late John Keel for non-human entities. My program included fairy music from England, Ireland, Wales, and Norway; the “trowie tunes” of the Shetland Islands in Scotland; the call of the banshee; the “outer space music” of Philip Rodgers; and channeled music by Rosemary Brown and Gustav Brabbée. I concluded with some of the tunes I’ve heard in dreams. Playing fairy music for Spiritualists! What next?

People who have children have to take what they get. And they shouldn’t be surprised if those children turn out no better than their parents.
